Just need Song, a winger and a striker and that's champions league.

Re: Jenkinson
Wonder if he'll get booed by Arsenal fans for having his photo in a West Ham shirt before he had signed?

Re: Jenkinson
I think you can 90% happy about this and still not appreciate being jerked around.

A somewhat settled back four should be an important thing to build on which mean it is good this year but raises questions about next again.

Re: Jenkinson
Would you prefer to go into this season with a lesser right back?
Or do you know of a better available option?

Re: Jenkinson
Whilst I am happy with this, i would rather have seen us sign someone on permanently.

We're clearly not going to sign him, why should we develop him for one more season?

That right there is the problem with the loan system.

Re: Jenkinson
Stubbo I would not be surprised if they expect to be cashing in on Bellerin next summer as I expect if he carries on his form from last season Barce will take him back 'home'

Re: Jenkinson
you would have thought Jenkinson would be able to see wherehe lies in the cheme of things and not have signed that contract

Altho as a Gooner I suppose he wants to give himself every chance to make it there

Re: Jenkinson
From Wenger: “We have three right backs already in Debuchy, Chambers and Bellerin,” Wenger told a press conference in Singapore ahead of a pre-season tour. “But we do not want to lose Carl Jenkinson – and that is why I extended his contract. But I don’t want four right-backs so this is a good compromise.”

Talk about stock-piling...I don't want 4 right backs but I don't want to lose my 4th right back is essentially what he's saying.

Could understand it if two of them were nearing the end of their careers, but Debuchy is 29 with another 3 or 4 years at the top, Chambers is 20, and Bellerin is 20, so if Jenks is behind two guy who are younger than him...why would Wenger keep him?!

You've seen this player play how many times and against who?

Re: Jenkinson
I'll say it again. Get the young Brazilian RB in- Joao Pedro (19). A couple of years and he'll be a cracking signing: loves to get forward, great with ball at feet. Or is it not possible being Sth Am and not yet represented full national team?

We have O'Brien though Woody.

Good to have him back but feel we need a decent back up as well.

Re: Jenkinson
Good news. I rate him, even if some of you lot don't!

Mr Polite 2:22 Tue Jul 14
Re: JENKINSON
I suppose they can loan him for £2m loan fee and still get the £6-7m next season - but they also take the risk if his form is poor or he gets injured.

Can only think it is because he is English.
